Process Monitoring Configuration
In-depth process monitoring supports allowlist and denylist configuration based on process attributes and parameters. The ONE platform provides two configuration templates for in-depth process monitoring rules: Global and Individual.
The following shows the globally effective configuration:

The following shows an individually effective configuration, specific to this host. You can use the configuration button on the host to switch between using its individual configuration or the global configuration.

Both global and individual configurations are structured into three rule types with descending order of matching priority:
-
Custom Monitoring Rules: User-defined allowlist/denylist rules for process monitoring. Supports parameters like command-line arguments (
args), container ID, executable name (exe), etc., to determine whether processes matching the rules should or should not be monitored.
-
Predefined Monitoring Rules: The ONE platform provides default predefined rules to help exclude non-essential processes from monitoring in application performance monitoring scenarios. This reduces interference when searching for critical processes and improves query performance.

-
Default Monitoring Rule: This is the base-level rule applied when no higher-priority custom or predefined rules match.
