Huawei Cloud Alert

Ingest Huawei Cloud Monitor alerts into the ONE platform via API WebHook and transform them into standard events through a data stream.

Prerequisites

• The ONE platform can reach the Huawei Cloud Monitor service.

Getting Started

ONE Platform Setup

• Navigate to Integrations → Plugins.
• Locate the Huawei Cloud Alert card and click Start Integration to create the ingestion task.
• Fill in the required fields and copy the generated WebHook URL.

Huawei Cloud Setup

• Log in to the Huawei Cloud SMN (Simple Message Notification) console, or, in the Cloud Monitor page, click Create Alarm Rule → Send Notification → Create Topic.

• Create a topic
  Set a topic name in the dialog.

• Subscribe to the topic
  Add a subscription with the following mandatory parameters:
  • Protocol: HTTPS
  • Endpoint: the WebHook URL generated by ONE

• Confirm subscription
  The subscription starts in Unconfirmed state.
  Huawei Cloud sends a confirmation message; Alert auto-clicks the confirmation link, moving the subscription to Confirmed.

• Attach the topic to an alarm rule
  In the alarm rule, select the newly-created topic and save.

Configure Data Stream

• ONE ships a out-of-the-box default stream.
• You can also build a custom stream for advanced scenarios.

Verification

• View the standardized events under Insight → Event Query.
