Alibaba Cloud Monitor

Pull Metrics from Alibaba Cloud services through their standard Cloud Monitor APIs.

• The ONE platform can reach Alibaba Cloud.

Getting Started

Get Cloud-Side Parameters

• API Endpoint
  Find the service address for your region and product in the Alibaba Cloud OpenAPI portal:
  https://next.api.aliyun.com/product/Cms

• Namespace
  Identifies the cloud service in Cloud Monitor.
  Lookup table: https://help.aliyun.com/zh/cms/cloudmonitor-1-0/support/appendix-1-metrics
  Click a product to see its namespace, category, and Metrics list.

• Labels (ProductCategory)
  Some services require an extra ProductCategory label.

• AccessKey
  Provide AccessKeyId and AccessKeySecret.

Create Ingestion Task

• Navigate to Integrations → Plugins.Click Start Integration on the Alibaba Cloud Metrics card.
• Enter the parameters collected above.

• Select the Metrics you need.

tip

• Private clouds require an extra “identity” field (no functional impact).
• Public cloud limits: 50 req/s and 1 M calls/month.

Configure Data Stream

• Build a stream to parse and store Metrics.
• Out-of-the-box streams are provided for common Alibaba Cloud tech components.

Verification

• Review registered Metrics under Insight → Data Model → Metrics.
• Explore data under Insight → Data Explorer.
