VMware

Use vSphere to collect metrics and event information for hosts, virtual machines, storage, and clusters in VMware.

Prerequisites​

The ONE platform must be able to access the vSphere environment.

Getting Started​

  • Navigate to Integrations → Plugins.Click Start Integration on the VMware vSphere card.
  • Fill in the host IP address, username, password, and any required business-ID.
  • Save the task; it is created in the disabled state.
  • Manually enable the job after you finish the data stream mapping.

Configure Data Stream​

  • ONE provides an out-of-the-box default stream.
  • You can also build a custom stream for advanced monitoring scenarios.

Verification​

  • Review registered Metrics under Insight → Data Model → Metrics.
  • Explore live data under Insight → Data Explorer.
  • View the standardized events under Insight → Event Query.
