SQL Server
Collect SQL Server service Metrics and send them to ONE to detect and analyze anomalies in your instances.
tip
ONE offers two SQL Server metrics collection options: SQL Server and SQL Server V2.
- SQL Server: Deploy an Exporter in your SQL Server environment; metrics are collected through the Exporter before ingestion into ONE.
- SQL Server V2: SmartGate includes a built-in SQL Server collection pipeline, so no separate Exporter is required.
Prerequisites
- A working SmartGate Agent is already deployed in the environment.
- Network connectivity exists between the SQL Server instances and the ONE platform.
Getting Started
- Navigate to Integrations → Plugins.Locate the SQL Server card and click Start Integration.
- Add a SQL Server component, choose the SmartGate that will scrape it, and fill in the connection settings displayed on the page.
- Save the job; it is created in the disabled state.
- Manually enable the job to begin processing.
Configure Data Stream
- ONE provides an out-of-the-box default stream.
- You can also build a custom stream for advanced monitoring scenarios.
Verification
- Review registered Metrics under Insight → Data Model → Metrics.
- Explore live data under Insight → Data Explorer.
