Version Overview
SmartGate 4.2.0 adds integration-agent data forwarding and custom plugin support, and integrates aws_ec2_metrics_collector 2.0.0 to collect AWS EC2 CloudWatch metrics via SmartGate.

- ⚠️ Important Limitations:
- APM < V2.6.0: No batch forwarding, data sent directly without cache;
- APM < V2.10.0: K8s YAML display anomalies;
- APM < V3.5.0: K8s YAML incompatible with SmartGate 3.3.0 and above.
Upgrade Recommendation
- Environments that need to forward integration-agent data or use custom plugins should upgrade to 4.2.0;
- Users who need to collect AWS EC2 CloudWatch metrics can upgrade to obtain aws_ec2_metrics_collector 2.0.0 integration.

Limitations
- APM version < V2.6.0: Agents do not support batch forwarding, data will be forwarded directly, no local cache mechanism;
- APM version < V2.10.0: YAML files of K8s resource objects display abnormally on the platform;
- APM version < V3.5.0: K8s resource object YAML files are incompatible with SmartGate 3.3.0 and above.

Plugin Capabilities
- The AWS EC2 integration uses SmartGate to retrieve Amazon CloudWatch metrics for Amazon EC2 instances in a non-terminated state in the AWS account, collecting data such as CPU and GPU usage, network, instance store, EBS, CPU credits, and instance status.
