SmartAgent Version 10.3.0

Release Date: August 7, 2026

Version Overview

SmartAgent 10.3.0 newly integrates supports Podman 5.6.0 and batch container-start monitoring, and upgrades JavaAgent 9.16.1, DotnetAgent 6.16.2, PythonAgent 8.8.0, GoAgent 5.1.0, SDKAgent 5.17.0, NodejsAgent 8.0.2, NginxAgent 3.10.3, and logsAgent 3.0.3.

  • ✨ Podman: Support monitoring Podman 5.6.0 and batch container start scenarios

  • ✨ JavaAgent 9.16.1: JDBC DBM SQL comment propagation; lettuce 6.5/6.6 and BES adaptations; custom error names and GenAI enhancements; improved application startup speed; fixed agent httpclient logs printing to the application console and JBoss LogManager initialization failures

  • ✨ GoAgent 5.1.0: Go aarch64 1.22/1.23, HTTPS Server, multi-DB drivers, and Kafka (Sarama) collection

  • ✨ PythonAgent 8.8.0 / SDKAgent 5.17.0: Enhanced LLM observability (time slices/truncation, token aggregation, user/conversation IDs)

  • 🔧 General improvements: Built-in injection filtering for Elasticsearch and Oracle rwrun processes; improved containerd root path detection

Upgrade Recommendation
  • Scenarios using Podman 5.6.0, LLM observability, JDBC DBM, or Go aarch64 1.22/1.23 should prioritize upgrading;
  • Users affected by duplicate Spring Cloud Gateway response headers, agent httpclient logs printing to the application console, JBoss LogManager initialization failures, Nginx JS injection out-of-bounds reads, or logsAgent not re-collecting after license recovery should upgrade promptly.

  • Possible loss of request-attribute incremental reporting on async threads for class-method collection.
  • Improved application startup speed in some scenarios.

Bug Fixes

  • Filter JDBC batch sentinel values SUCCESS_NO_INFO/EXECUTE_FAILED to avoid negative rowsReturned (affects: JavaAgent 8.0.0~9.15.0, SmartAgent 6.0.0~10.2.1).
  • Avoid CTAS SQL incorrectly triggering execution plans (affects: JavaAgent 8.0.0~9.15.0, SmartAgent 6.0.0~10.2.1).
  • Database name parsing: fall back to <default> when getCatalog() returns empty string (affects: JavaAgent 8.0.0~9.15.0, SmartAgent 6.0.0~10.2.1).
  • Fixed duplicate downstream APM response headers in Spring Cloud Gateway scenarios (affects: JavaAgent 8.0.0~9.15.0, SmartAgent 6.0.0~10.2.1).
  • Fixed agent httpclient logs possibly printing to the application console (affects: JavaAgent 9.13.0~9.16.1, SmartAgent 10.0.0~10.2.1).
  • Fixed JBoss LogManager initialization failure (affects: JavaAgent 9.13.0~9.16.1, SmartAgent 10.0.0~10.2.1).

2. DotnetAgent Upgraded to 6.16.2

New Features

  • Adapted .NET 9.0.

3. PythonAgent Upgraded to 8.8.0

New Features

  • Added LLM conversation time-slice / truncation metrics.
  • Added LLM trace aggregated token usage and user id / conversation id tags.
  • Expanded the input/output collection switch to more span kinds.
  • Filter unknown user id / conversation id for LLM.
  • Removed profiling sanitization.

4. NginxAgent Upgraded to 3.10.3
